The Brief & Vision:
Community Sports Trust needed Fifteen’s assistance to help discover, define and communicate a distinctive brand story, create an online presence, enhance their current sales process and attract bigger projects.
We worked to reinvent the brand from Community Sports Trust to the new brand name of Shift.
Fifteen approached this with aims to:
Conduct an insight workshop to help discover the brand, understand key aspects of their identity, and create objectives to translate into a DNA document and a Tone of Voice document.
Design and develop a new website that is mobile responsive and built using the best practices and techniques. This will create an online presence that SHIFT will be able to drive users to a unique online experience.
Design a sales presentation that confidently demonstrates their unique offering and stands out against their competition.
The vision for the project was:
- To showcase SHIFT’s offering and how they do it differently
- To help align the business objectives internally
- To shift our target audience focus from ‘Inactive Irene’ to ‘Freda Funder’
- to attract bigger scale projects
- To attract like-minded partners
- To position SHIFT as thought leaders within the industry and the go-to provider
- To inspire people and drive lifestyle choices to help improve their mental and physical wellbeing
- To help showcase the trustworthiness, credibility and friendliness of the SHIFT team
Shift believe in the power of physical activity to transform the lives of people around them. They have made a massive ‘shift’ from their old name Community Sports Trust to the new name of Shift to represent their passion towards changing people’s opinions and mindsets and to encourage wellness and wellbeing.
Shift is fully embedded into the local community, and work with a range of groups across Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire, to help create a truly unique experience.
What We Did:
Workshop & Brand:
We worked with the team at Shift to produce their new brand identity, and we were thrilled when they came back to us to design and develop their website.
As part of the exercise, we worked with Shift and performed a workshop, where we learnt about their vision, mission, values and their story. We also analysed and determined their audience personas and brand archetypes to produce a concise and continuous message across their marketing.
Following on from the workshop, we produced a brand DNA document, which contained all of this valuable information. The Shift team can refer to this document at any point to keep their message unified and on brand.
We also designed a sales presentation which they will be able to cater towards pitches and proposals that they attend to win further work with clients.
The updated website was focused around a one-page system, which informed the user of the core mission of Shift. The site is aimed at both the target audience, and those who may be interested in hiring Shift to help assist with wellbeing within their place of work.
The site uses the brand’s iconic angle motif through overlays on images and diagonal lines across the website. This is reinforced with their amazing community images showing people getting involved and having fun!
We’ve integrated an Instagram feed as a key part of the website, which pulls through Shift’s latest posts, and really helps showcase who they are and what they are about. Their blog is also a rich resource where they will be able to add top tips, inspirational and thought leading posts as well as promote events that they are running within the community.
Since we launched the website on the 5th of September we’ve seen a massive increase in engagement and views, comparing the results from the last month to the previous period, we have seen a 40% increase in users, 75% increase in sessions, 144% increase in page views, 3% reduction in bounce rate and a 123% increase in average session duration.
We loved working with such a positive group of people and Shift’s website reflects the good they do in the community. Have a look at their new site here.
