Fifteen have recently taken on two new web developers, Alex and Mikey, taking our team of thirteen creatives up to our titular Fifteen!
These recent additions to our team means we currently have five web developers, allowing us to cope with the influx of website design queries we have been receiving recently. The varying skillsets and levels of experience the team now has means we will always have the right developer for the job; whether you’re looking for a user-friendly e-commerce website, a beautifully built website with parallax animation, or a functional and mobile-ready responsive website.
Mikey Burton – Junior Web Developer
When reading the story of Mikey’s journey to becoming a member of the Fifteen team, it reads an awful lot like one of those “child genius” stories. Mikey could read before he could talk, and taught himself coding by reading his mum’s university textbooks at the age of 14.
He then started juggling a freelance Web Developer job with his Support Technician role at a software company. As he grew within the company (eventually moving up to the role of Enterprise Technician), he had the opportunity to work with the likes of NASA, Evernote, Warner Music, and Live Nation.
Now he’s at Fifteen, in the Junior Web Developer role, and we’re looking forward to watching him develop further.
Alex Walker – Web Developer
Another self-taught prodigy, Alex joins our team after several years as a freelance Web Developer.
He actually started out as a journalist, having studied it at university, but eventually decided it wasn’t for him. Starting out as a freelance Web Developer by building websites for a few friends and family, it wasn’t long before his reputation had grown and he was developing websites for a host of different companies, from small start-up companies, to the development of the website for Nottingham’s sci-fi convention.
Both of these additions have added a valuable skill-set to Fifteen, along with added manpower, allowing us to kick into overdrive and start tackling even bigger projects.
Watch this space.
