Fifteen are looking for a hardworking individual who is looking to expand their knowledge, learn new skills and work in a creative and fast-paced team environment.
The role we have to fill is a Backend PHP Web Developer. We are looking for someone with an excellent understanding of programming knowledge (HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, PHP and MySQL) as well as WordPress (WooCommerce)/Magento experience.
Ideally you should have at least 2 years experience working as a backend developer and have experience of the full development lifecycle, with strong analytical and creative problem solving skills.
We are looking for someone who is motivated and ready to learn, and who can pick up new skills and technologies quickly. We are always ready to let you go on training courses, and give you time to develop your skills.
Most importantly we are looking for someone with ideas. Here at Fifteen all your ideas are listened to, and if it’s a fit for the business we will put it in motion. In the last 6 months our development team have built a Test Lab, our in-house Ubuntu server and restructured our hosting.
Our working hours are 9:00am – 5:30pm, Monday to Friday, and you should have the ability to live the Fifteen culture and values – we listen, we have fun, the ability to innovate ideas and a mutual respect for every member of the team.
Without our strong and expanding development team, we would not have won 3 Web Awards for our websites IKCA, Portsmouth Golf and Orphans in Need, we would not have been nominated for categories in the RAR Awards and Digital Awards, or received nominations for Orphans in Need and IKCA in Website of the Year!
If you have knowledge and experience of other CMS systems, version control systems, MVC Frameworks and server management experience, then please let us know this too.
