Fifteen are proud to shout out about Westridge Golf Centre’s new website, which launched earlier this week! After a long standing relationship with Fifteen over the years, it was finally time to revamp their website, into a fresh and modern website which the centre can use moving forward.
About Westridge Golf Centre
Westridge Golf Centre is a golf centre based on the Isle of Wight. They have a fully covered floodlit golf range set in a stunning parkland, a range of lesson options, driving range and practice facilities so that keen golfers can up their game when they visit the centre.
Working with Westridge Golf Centre on a daily basis on their digital campaigns, it was becoming apparent that their website was in need of an update, with our understanding of the business, and the golf sector, it was key that we could produce a website that was fresh, modern, easy to update and fit in with the sector and help their business move forward.
The website is built using WordPress, and uses many modern design elements, such as flat icons, full-screen images, parallax and bitesize information chunks to encourage users to read more, and then get in touch with the golf centre.
Using their existing content and images from the website, we were able to create a new site that fit their expectations and current business image, showcasing their driving range, golf course, and key features through the site in the relevant places.
The website is also fully customizable, so the team at Westridge can edit all images and content throughout the website with ease after their training session.
Who worked on the project?
Sophie, Digital Producer
Taking the initial brief from the client, Sophie was able to brief in the production and development team on the project and develop a website to fit the clients need. She also provided full training on the website after the site was completed, and helped successfully launch the project.
Assisting Sophie with the project, Josh worked on carrying over the information from the existing website into the new database, he also tested the website, and was a key part in getting the website turned around and launched.
As a key member of the development team, Mikey worked alongside the various departments within Fifteen to build the website, using the latest website development trends and techniques within the build, and keeping to the clients budget.
After working on multiple projects for the client with other members of the digital team, India’s insight allowed her to optimise the website with the relevant keywords, and ensure for a seamless transition from the old site to the new.
