Boots are renowned all over the world for their health and beauty stores. Having been in the industry for over 170 years, it is no wonder they are leaders in the industry. Bringing thousands of products to your high street each and every day, they aim to help each customer look and feel their best.


The Brief

As it becomes more and more critical for companies to reduce the impact their business and products are having on the environment. Boots came to Fifteen to design a new range of environmentally friendly products coming to market. Under the name of “Extracts” they were looking for a brand identity and suite of label designs that echoed the natural goodness of the product and complimented the work done to help reduce the impact on the environment.

The Solution

Working together with the team at Boots, we created a simple brand identity that allows the ingredients of the product to take centre stage. Teamed with simple yet sleek typography, the understated design gives focus to what’s within, with a bespoke suite of natural illustrations that depict the main ingredient of the product.

A raw and earthy illustration style was chosen for the label design, to reinforce the values and work that has gone in to reduce the impact this range will have on the environment. The natural colours play hand in hand with this concept and together create a harmonious suite that will help people to buy more consciously.
