Walk With Me
Aims & Ambitions
This project was very close to our clients hearts and something they were fiercely passionate about. Their desire was to provide an online outlet that catered to a particular type of audience, one that valued the more premium product for their pets.
The branding began with an intense research session with the client including colour theory, typography consideration and mood boarding. After several revisions we refined the final logo. What is extra special about the logo itself is that it pays tribute to the client’s own dog, Freddie, who sadly passed during the initial branding stage.
Brand Concept & Delivery
After it was clear in the direction we were going in with the brand, we finalised the logo and focuses on other elements of the branding including the colour, type choice and imagery to be used across their stationery, social media pages and website.
We put together their brand guidelines which covers all of the elements of the brand for them to use in the future. They can also supply this document to producers of their own brand products, something which they have embarked on recently.
E-Commerce Website Design
The website was a great challenge, as we had to strike a balance between the emotional side of the brand and also pushing the product sales. The header image is an area where Walk with Me can showcase imagery which reflects their brand. We balance this with the ‘favourite’ products below to promote some of the best items they have to offer.
The most effective feature we have implemented on the site is the enclosed checkout. When a customer is ready to purchase and proceeds to the checkout, the header, footer and any other distractions are removed from the site to that the customer is encouraged to focus on completing their purchase. This is a great feature that we thoroughly recommend for any e-commerce website.
The Walk With Me brand has now been featured at several industry shows across the UK including the Lincolnshire Food & Gift Show. They’ve also enjoyed features in issues of Dogs Today and Dogs Monthly magazine. As well as this their reach has been recognised by The Dogs Trust, where they have pledged to donate £1 of every dog bed, blanket or sleeping bag profits straight to the trust. This just supports their true brand ethos which we have passionately loved helping Walk With Me create.
The most exciting part of working with them, is seeing their progression into producing their own brand products. Some that have been directly influenced by the logo design we created.Back to Case Studies
