What made you want to work for Fifteen?
The chance to work in a creative team on a variety of projects.
Why did you become a developer and what are the most enjoyable aspects of the job?
I started developing WordPress themes to make my own websites look better and it just developed (geddit?) from there. I love creating something new from scratch and coming up with original solutions to make things work.
What’s the most unusual fact about yourself that not a lot of people know?
As well as a developer, I’m a published writer of nonfiction, short stories and even some poetry – which makes me a poet and you didn’t know it.
What would we be likely to bump into you doing at the weekend?
Either at the football (or pubs near the football) or out running, fixture list depending.
My favourite cocktail is: pale ale.
If I was in a band, we would be called: I was in a band many years ago. We were called the Unused Substitutes.
I cringe at: tabloid newspapers.
I laugh at: puns. Except the terrible ones in tabloid newspapers.
On my way to work I: read the paper or a good book… (I take the bus, by the way, in case you were worried about my driving being a hazard.)
If I won the lottery, I would: open a bookshop / recording studio. Pretty sure no one’s done that combo before.
My guilty pleasure is: Storage Hunters. Even the terrible UK version. BOOOOMMM!!!
My home from home is: the world-famous City Ground, Nottingham.
I am never without: headphones or a book.Back to Team
