What made you want to work for Fifteen?
The passion and enthusiasm displayed by Ollie made my decision a no-brainer. Surrounding myself with skilled enthusiastic people can only lead to positive outcomes. A great portfolio of work and clients as well as a brimming awards cabinet made the opportunity too good to miss.
Why did you become Head of Development and what are the most enjoyable aspects of the job?
I’ve been actively developing since my early teenage years. I’ve always been a logical thinker and enjoy seeing the fruits of my labour. Having spent over a decade in the industry the opportunity to progress to managerial level was the next logical step, and I now take great pleasure in driving individuals of all skills levels and businesses to success.
What’s the most unusual fact about yourself that not a lot of people know?
I have qualifications in accountancy which I’ve never used.
What would we be likely to bump into you doing at the weekend?
You’re unlikely to bump into me as most weekends are spent off the beaten path fishing for some of the UK’s (and Europe’s) biggest carp. If I’m not fishing I’ll be spending quality time with my family or gardening.
My party trick is: I can drink Sambuca underwater.
If I was born a woman, my parents would have named me: Sam.
My favourite cocktail is: Whiskey with whiskey.
If I was in a band, we would be called: Carpe Diem.
I cringe at: Poor design.
I laugh at: My girlfriend’s cooking.
On my way to work I: Drink Relentless and rap along to Spotify.
If I won the lottery, I would: Pay off my parents’ mortgage, buy them both a nice car, invest in a creative business and buy a fishing lake in France ready for retirement.
My home from home is: Heatherton Pond.
The best piece of advice I’ve ever had is: Always work as hard as you play.
I am never without: My iPhone.Back to Team
