Making an Impact for Impact Flooring

Impact Flooring is a B2B flooring solutions company, that offers a range of services including concrete repair, wet and hygienic flooring and floor sealing for a number of different sectors approached us looking to update their website from a non-responsive and unstructured site into something that they can use to push the business forward and increase their user engagement and enquiry rate.

The Design

In order to move the website into modern times, we focussed on a clean and clear design, making an impact to its users. We focused heavily on the images used throughout the website, making these large to really give a sense of what the company does on a big scale.

The website is built using best web practices and techniques, and is also fully responsive, with a clear focus on user journey, and offering a number of ways for users to get in touch with Impact Flooring, the website will allow them to service their customers quicker and more efficiently.

In order to highlight key offerings of the company, such as their no dust process, we devised a number of different templates for users to be able to process information. Their ‘Our Process’ page, for example, outlines the steps of working with the company and gives the user confidence and an understanding of their expectations of working with Impact Flooring.

The Structure

The structure of the website was important to get right, especially as we are also now running their PPC campaigns. We split the many different elements of the previous site into sections: Services, Flooring Solutions and Sectors so that the user journey is more targeted and friendly.

The aim of this structure is so that users can browse the site in a few different ways – whether they are doing research and want to discover what Impact do for their sector, or if they know what they need and can find the relevant solution or service that is on offer to them.

By improving the user journey, this will have an impact on the sites performance and therefore the conversion rate.

The Digital Plan

After optimising the website for keywords, we have also built a PPC campaign around them, pushing people to the website where they can find out more information about the services on offer with the hope that they convert using the forms on the website.
