BGS Ltd have been providing complete utility solutions for over 15 years but were finding that their standalone logo wasn’t attracting the right audience, as their name wasn’t giving enough insight into what services the company provide. BGS Ltd decided to rebrand to BGS Utilities and came to Fifteen to put this into action with a new brand and website.
The new brand incorporates the three colours from the old BGS brand, chosen for their association to the three main utilities services: gas, water and electricity. A quality that is easily identified in the industry and keeps a nostalgic link to the old logo.
The new emblem not only draws reference from pipework but was also chosen for it’s connotation to working together, a key selling point for BGS Utilities who work with their customers to provide complete utility solutions from feasibility to completion.
As part of the rebrand the new visual style was applied to the company literature and marketing materials, including stationery and vehicle livery, to create a distinctive and consistent identity across all customer touchpoints.
Website Design & Development
The next step was to tackle the BGS Utilities website, which had become outdated and behind the times in latest technology. We evolved the new brand through the design of the website and made sure BGS’s unique selling points were clearly reflected.
We added new features to the website such as the Quick Enquiry form, helping to drive users to take that first step to getting in touch.
For those on the go, the website is now fully responsive, meaning it can be accessed from any device without compromise on user experience.
The website is designed and built to grow with BGS and the CMS allows the team to easily edit and add to the website at any time.
