Scoring a hole-in-one with Adventure Experience’s New Site

The Brief & Vision:

After working with Adventure Experience over the last 3 years on their multiple websites, we decided to migrate all of the 5 different sites we had once created into one single mega-site to help improve Adventure Experience’s overall brand visibility and organic SEO.

Sticking to the general style created initially for the previous Adventure Experience website, we created a new website that caters towards their B2C target market and also allows Adventure Experience to showcase their professional side to allow for expansion of the golf sites across more locations in the future.

About Adventure Experience:

Adventure Experience was founded in 2010, and they are the UK’s leading Adventure Golf operator, they design and build some of the best courses for Adventure Golf in the UK, creating fun for all the family.

Primarily based around London and the South East, they cater for all ages and abilities in their onsite activities which include; Adventure Golf, High Ropes, GoGo Boats and Mini Quads.

What We Did:

Website:

Following on from the style we created for the original Adventure Experience website’s we pushed forward with a new look – creating something eye-catching, fun and dynamic, we took key elements from the previous sites and included them into this new all-singing all-dancing website.

The new website is a central driver to help increase the brand awareness for Adventure Experience, those who live close to the locations know the individual names of the sites already, but not the brand itself.

Constructed in WordPress, we’ve developed the website using best practice code and development techniques, allowing the Adventure Experience team the ability to edit and update the content across the site as they need to at any time.

Digital:

As part of the project, we took all the content that we had created previously and copied them across into the new website, updating content where suitable and needed to help assist with the site’s organic visibility, we started front-loading the previous Adventure Experience website with new blog posts, to help improve the SEO in the run-up to the new website launch, and carried across all best practices across both sites, giving the best possible chance of success for this risky merger.

Local SEO also played a big part in the new website launch; ensuring consistent branding, opening times, pricing and maximising the search potential for each location.

We’ve also been running PPC and Social campaigns tailored to the specific terms and audiences looking for things to do in the area and driving traffic to the website via these means, which will help increase online booking conversions.

Emails:

To assist with marketing, we worked on 2 email templates for the team at Adventure Experience to utilise moving forward. These can be used for ongoing marketing campaigns or to let customers know about the weather because let’s face it – the British weather can be unpredictable!

These emails aim to direct users to information on the website, and encourage them to book their next game!

Photography:

We’ve also been commissioned to take new pictures of the golf sites, the first site’s new photoshoot was completed on Good Friday, and we are excited to get these pictures onto the website and to get on-location images of the other 3 sites and get some pics of the action there!

Adventure Golf Summer Fun Adventure Experience

Keeping photos and images up to date on the website helps keep the website fresh and on point, giving a mini new lease of life every time a new picture is added. The Adventure Experience team can also use these pictures on their marketing literature and socials.

The Results:

The results speak for themselves. Organic traffic on Adventure Experience increased by 28% after the new site launched.

The increased traffic also saw an increase in conversion rates and transactions by an average of 21%. This made for great reading and we look forward to seeing what the future holds.
