As our client base continues to expand, we’re looking for an experienced PPC Manager to join our talented team remotely — someone who is analytical, commercially minded, and passionate about driving measurable results through paid media. You will report directly into our Digital Director.
The Role
As PPC Manager, you’ll take ownership of paid search activity across a range of client accounts, leading on strategy, implementation, optimisation, and reporting. Your primary focus will be Google Ads and Microsoft Ads, but you should also be comfortable supporting wider paid media activity where required.
This role suits someone who can balance day-to-day account management with strategic thinking, and who enjoys spotting opportunities to improve campaign performance. You’ll work closely with clients and internal teams to deliver campaigns that align with commercial goals, improve return on investment, and support long term growth. This is a remote role with the option to work in our office in Preston.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and implement paid media strategies across Google Ads and Microsoft Ads in line with client goals, budgets, and target audiences
- Manage the day-to-day performance of PPC accounts, including campaign builds, optimisation, budget control, and performance monitoring
- Build and maintain campaigns across Search, Shopping, Performance Max, Display, and remarketing where relevant
- Carry out keyword research, competitor analysis, audience planning, and ad copy creation to improve campaign effectiveness
- Analyse platform data and user behaviour to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
- Monitor and optimise key performance metrics including click through rate, conversion rate, cost per acquisition, return on ad spend, and lead quality
- Set up and maintain accurate tracking through GA4 and Google Tag Manager, ensuring conversions and events are correctly attributed
- Produce clear and actionable reports, translating performance data into practical recommendations for clients and internal teams
- Attend client meetings when required, confidently presenting results, insights, and next steps
- Support with audits, forecasts, and new business proposals where needed
- Stay up to date with PPC trends, platform changes, automation features, and digital marketing best practices
- Collaborate with SEO, design, development, and account management teams to support wider campaign success
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a PPC or paid media role
- Strong hands on experience with Google Ads and Microsoft Ads
- Good understanding of campaign structures, bidding strategies, match types, audience targeting, and ad testing
- Experience managing lead generation and or eCommerce campaigns across a range of budgets
- Strong analytical skills and confidence interpreting performance data to make informed decisions
- Experience using GA4, Google Tag Manager, and conversion tracking tools
- Ability to produce clear, client friendly reports and explain performance in a straightforward way
- Well organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple accounts in a fast paced environment
- Confident communicator with a friendly and professional approach
- Up to date with paid media developments, platform updates, and evolving best practice
- Familiarity with Google Merchant Center, feed based campaigns, or paid social platforms would be a bonus
- Agency experience would be advantageous
