Aiming High for AIM Recruitment

March 2, 2016

Yet another website has been launched by the team at Fifteen. This time, it’s for AIM Recruitment!

About AIM Recruitment

AIM Recruitment is a recruitment agency, which specialises in filling roles within the Food industry. They have the knowledge and expertise to fill roles within Operations, Technical, Engineering, Supply Chair, NPD and HR spanning from managers and directors to project managers and general work.

The team at AIM have an amazing success rate, and with their first-hand experience within the industry, it makes them the best choice for many of their well-known clients.

The Task

The project was split into 3 parts. The first step was to create a brand which reflected the company, and stayed true to their former logo, keeping the ethos and personality within its heart.

The second was to create marketing material to go alongside the brand this included business cards, letterheads, folders, mugs and coasters to use within the office and to take to clients for meetings creating great conversation starters.

The third was to create their website, which was to be fully responsive and enable the team to add and update jobs within the relevant specialisms.

The Brand & Marketing Literature

Wanting to keep the essence and company values close at heart, we worked closely with AIM to create a logo that was a natural progression of their existing branding. Keeping the ‘A’ shape as a device throughout the branding has played a key role in providing a clean, modern and recognisable brand for this well-known and respected company.

Using the same ‘A’ device and circle motif throughout the marketing literature, we have been able to create coasters that are to the brand, business cards, letterheads, folders and a piece of direct mail that will encourage potential clients to get in touch with the team to talk about their vacancies.

The Website

The AIM existing website, need a bit of TLC and an update, we wanted to keep things simple and clean. We were able to produce a website, that caters for both the candidates and the clients, with thought out user journeys for both.

As AIM Specialise with 6 disciplines within the Food Industry, it was important that users on the site are able to distinguish the 6 disciplines, and following the industry trend, we chose a range of colours that complimented the branding and colour scheme in order to roll these out across the website using subtle hints across the site.

One of the key elements of the website is the ability for the team at AIM to add their own job vacancies to the website, and for the ability for candidates to apply via the website for the jobs listed. Another key element was bringing the team into the website, each member of the AIM team specialises in one of the disciplines, and in order to bring personality to the website, photographs of the team are used throughout, we’ve also utilised the individuals great reputation with their candidates and clients, and used testimonials across the website where needed.

The site also has the use of a blog/news section, so that the AIM team can provide useful information for candidates and clients in regards to the processes that they take when hiring, and giving interview tips and tricks.

Overall, the site has a fresh, fun and modern feel, it’s easy to use and directs users to where they need to go with the encouragement to send an enquiry or apply for a job!

What They Had To Say

We presented Fifteen with a pretty much blank canvas in terms of what we wanted from a rebranding exercise and new website design, and then we held our breath. The team readily assessed what would best suit our business in terms of needs, character and aspirations and delivered us first a range of branding options of which certainly gave us pause for thought before we chose (rightly) the design they’d had their money on before taking the content of our existing website and totally revamping its presentation bringing a tired and dated website right up to date.  We are delighted with what Fifteen has done for us; the overall results are way beyond our original expectations and were achieved with a very short turnaround. – Alan Donaldson, Managing Director
