Another Hermes Award-Winning Website!

April 28, 2017

Earlier in the month, we celebrated having been awarded twice at the Hermes Creative Awards for our websites for the David Ross Education Trust and Can Get The Staff.  We were lucky enough to launch the new IDBS website just in time to enter it into the Hermes Creative Awards before the deadline for entries and today we have received the great news that this website has also been honoured with an award.

We entered the IDBS website into the Business to Business category for Website Design and Development and the website has been awarded a Platinum prize. This means that at this year’s awards, all of our entries have been honoured and we are walking away with two platinum trophies and a gold one too!

When we started the IDBS website project, our brief from their team was to create a website with a strong concept that would wow and win awards as well as achieve great conversions for the business. The design of the website really stretched the creativity and skill of our entire team. The design concept is heavily influenced by the business’ ambition to aspire for better. IDBS provide research and development software to enable organisations to achieve great things with innovative software that is continually pushing boundaries. The IDBS team really did lay down the gauntlet for our development team who were pushed and encouraged to explore new skills to make the website stand out from competitors in the online marketplace.

And there’s still more to come from the IDBS website. The project is split into two phases, the first is the front customer facing website to showcase their products and the second is a back end brand portal and information hub that will store white papers, webinars, resources and brand material for their clients. This part of the website is currently under development and will be launching within the next month.

“The IDBS website project was a gem of a brief – a concept led design executed with technology that would wow! This is the kind of project that we love to work on with creative freedom to really push ideas and technology.” Michelle Moss, Head of Design.
