Fifteen Design support Queens Medical Centre – Children’s Cancer Ward

October 17, 2013 - fifteen

Fifteen Design were delighted to help our clients and friends Garmendale Engineering in their bid to raise money for Ward E38 the Children’s Cancer Ward at the Nottingham City Hospital.

This gruelling 5m challenge was inspired by a seven-year-old Ilkeston boy, Callum Padgett, who is being treated at the QMC Nottingham for a rare form of cancer called neuroblastoma, which affects only about 100 children a year in the UK.

Fifteen Design were not only tasked with making a donation of course, that goes without saying, but with designing the literature that was to promote the event. We were also pleased to be able to bring in local celebrity and breakfast radio DJ Amy Voce, from GEM 106 who was able to promote the cause through her show. Great work Amy!!!.

The event was believed to have raised around £20,000 and once again, Fifteen Design was proud to be part of a worthy cause which was really really well supported by the people along the 5 mile journey coming out of their houses to donate money – a big thank you to you all!.
