When one of our favourite clients, Lewis Harvey of Adey Electronics, told us he would be running this years London Marathon, we wanted to make sure that we supported him in whatever way we could. Lewis asked if the team at Fifteen Design would design his running vest for the marathon to include pictures of his late Mother Ann, who sadly died of cancer 10 years ago, his Aunty and Grandmothers, who have also passed away. Lewis managed to secure his place in the marathon running for MACS, a charity that helps children born with underdeveloped or no eyes and will also be running for Cancer Research. Having applied to run the marathon for the last 5 years with no avail, Lewis was thrilled to be able to make his dream come true and run for such great causes. He said “Ever since I was young I used to watch the marathon on TV, dreaming that one day that it could be me crossing the finishing line. I just hope that I do my family and friends proud and complete the course in a decent time. The thought of them being there to shake my hand as I finish will really give me that extra push and determination to keep going.”
We wish Lewis all the best a week on Sunday and we will all be watching to see how well he does.
