We are delighted to reveal that our website for the Imran Khan Cancer Appeal (IKCA) has been selected as a finalist for The Good Web Guide (GWG) Website of the Year.
The IKCA project that we completed in the summer of this year has been shortlisted alongside two other finalists in the ‘Charity/Social Enterprise’ category.
The judges have selected the shortlisted websites for their originality and high engagement levels through a unique concept or an outstanding user experience. This is something we are particular pleased about as we worked very hard to ensure that the user experience of the website was planned to perfection, in order to retain visitors and direct them to the donation pages.
It was our pleasure to work with IKCA and Hendrix Media and together produce a website that firstly and foremost is helping them to raise more money for the charity, but is also getting attention from industry specialists due to it’s design and build. This extra publicity is driving additional visitors to the website, which will hopefully result in new followers and supporters of the cause. The charity has a special place in our hearts, some members of the Fifteen team even climbed Mount Snowdon with them to help fundraise, and the success they are now receiving on the back of the website is brilliant!
The GWG is an online guide to the best websites on the Internet. They spend the time researching and visiting a wide range of websites to cover all lifestyle and consumer interests. They list the best ones online, taking away the guesswork and legwork for visitors. Each of the websites they review is rated according to its unique offering, usability and efficiency.
The award category winners will be announced at the awards reception on Monday 16th November at The Royal Institution of Great Britain, London.
