We have been working hard with Nottingham’s newest rental agency Tattershalls on creating their brand, marketing material and a fully responsive website, and we are happy to announce that the site is now live!
Tattershalls is a brand new rental agency situated in the centre of Nottingham. Tattershalls was created with the aim to offer both Landlords and Tenants a tailored service where all elements of the lettings process are simple and the circumstances and situations of both parties are understood by all. The team is fresh and energetic, and works towards a common goal to to exceed expectations and develop long term relationships.
Starting up a new company is always difficult, you’ve got to create a brand from nothing, and try to make yourself stand out from some established competitors. We set to work with the team at Tattershalls to develop a brand, various marketing materials and their website, while keeping true to their core aim, and how they want the business to be perceived by the public.
Tattershalls wanted a brand that would reflect the calibre of properties they let and service they supply.
With a strong background in the property sector, they wanted their new identity to hint to their experience and knowledge while retaining a fresh modern look for the new start up business.
The chosen brand depicts an old fashioned key with the Tattershalls double ‘T’ incorporated into the bit. The intricate design displays their attention to detail and high standards in supplying their customers with a top quality service. This is teamed with a sans serif font, to create a look that combines traditional with modern.
A range of stationery was designed alongside the logo, with accompanying brand guidelines to ensure consistent use of the Tattershalls brand in future marketing materials.
We built Tattershalls a fully responsive website built within WordPress CMS, that communicates to both Tenants and Landlords.
It was important to understand that each user groups have different aims from the website and both of these needed to be fulfilled in some way. For Landlords we needed them to be able to understand the process that Tattershalls use to let out their properties, and their professional approach to the process, for Tenants it was for them to find properties based on different variables through a search system, and for them to understand the process and different elements of renting a property through Tattershalls.
The main functionality of the website is the Property search, where users can search for properties via keywords and different filter options which are controlled by a series of tick boxes within the backend of the system. When the user finds the property that they would like to view, a Property page displays all the relevant information in an easy to understand and processable manner, and encourages them to get in touch to enquire about the property further. The team at Tattershalls have the ability to upload and populate properties through the website, making the site easy for the admin to use.
We look forward to seeing the website and brand grow overtime, and look forward to a long lasting relationship with the team at Tattershalls.
Who Worked on the Project?
Ollie Piddubriwnyj – Managing Director
Ollie initially met with the team at Tattershalls to fully understand their brief and how they wanted their business to be perceived online by their potential clients, before producing a quote and proposal which they accepted and was then handed over to Lucy for the brand work and Sophie for the website work in a project start meeting.
Sophie Kish – Digital Producer
Sophie took the website forward from the project start meeting, and worked with the client through choosing the layout that we were going to work with and using this as the base for our design and website functionality, through to the website build, training and launching the website. Sophie worked alongside Lucy and Mikey through the whole process to deliver a website that would work for the client for years to come.
Lucy Goodwin – Designer
Lucy took charge of the brand work for Tattershalls creating a slick and modern logo using colours that will make Tattershalls stand out against their competitors. After the brand was complete, Lucy worked alongside Sophie and Mikey on the website to make sure that the site was on brand and considered the user journey and design throughout.
Mikey Burton – Developer
Mikey built the site from the ground up, taking into consideration each element of the build to make it intuitive for the user both client and admin. He used his knowledge with HTML/CSS and WordPress to create something that is fully responsive and works for the clients needs in order for them to add to the website as time goes by.
