I write this account at the half way point of my 10 week placement at Fifteen. I was delighted to be given the opportunity to work for an agency that strives to be different and pushes the boundaries in design.
This approach to design has really helped me develop my own skills as a designer. My previous employment was an in-house role which gave me industry experience and improved my skills technically, but lacked the creativity which I experienced back when I was studying at University.
At Fifteen, I certainly feel I am being pushed to my limits when creating designs. The projects I have been involved in so far have been varied and pose different challenges. I’ve designed a Direct Mailer Campaign for Fifteen (which is currently being printed) a responsive website design for a Nottingham company, a double page advert and also branding projects including for none other than TV personality Des Coleman.
I’ve been made to feel very welcome and a valued member of the team. I never imagined I would have so much fun either in a working environment whilst at the same time working in such a fast paced environment
I am certainly looking forward to the second half of my placement and writing again to tell you all about it.
