Stirland Paterson Group are an established print and design company who have been running for almost 20 years. Their main focus is in print, but they also offer creative and delivery solutions. After working with Stirland Paterson for 5 years, we were asked to design and develop a new website that would really illustrate the fantastic service they offer.
Aims & Objectives
The true aim of the new website was to clearly demonstrate the customer’s journey and experience when choosing Stirland Paterson as their supplier.
Despite their existing website already attracting a good number of visitors, we were adamant that they could achieve more through a visually exciting homepage and content rich information pages.
Telling the Story
Once we began planning the site, we based the whole homepage around telling a story. We began with a full screen video on the homepage which captures a job travelling from initial enquiry, to print and finally to delivery. Including footage of the team, the creative artworking, printing process and dispatch, we tried to capture the essence of what SPG is all about.
We used some scroll based counters to convey the experience that SPG have in the industry, documenting their years in business, jobs completed each month, staff numbers and their volume of recyclable materials used.
Connecting with the Customers
We worked with Stirland Paterson to help them convey a personal touch to the website. Using terminology and a tone of voice that portrays Stirland Paterson as a company that really looks after their customer, which we know first hand.
We also suggested a team page which profiles some of the key members of staff. We wanted this area to connect with potential and existing customers by putting a face to the name of Stirland Paterson.
The finishing touches to the website include an integrated twitter and blog feed that appears throughout the whole site.Back to Case Studies
